A thief who was released from prison is now wanted back behind bars, sparking a police appeal to find him.

Connor Morgan, 27, from the Bargoed area, appeared at Newport Magistrates Court on November 25 last year, where he was jailed.

However, having since been released, Gwent Police claims Morgan has breached the conditions of his release, and has now been recalled to prison.

The force does not disclose what the licence conditions were, or what conditions have been broken.

Anyone with information can contact Gwent Police on 101 or through direct message on social media, quoting log 2400108640, or direct message us on Facebook or Twitter.

Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
