A new summer event is coming to Bargoed.
The Bargoed Summer Music Festival will take place on Saturday July 6 from 9am to 7.30pm.
It is funded by Bargoed Town Council and organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Leftover funds of £19,000 from last year’s cancelled winter fair have gone towards the event.
Bargoed will host two other events this year – the May Fair on May 4 and the Bargoed Winter Food and Craft Fair on December 7.
