Caerphilly County Borough’s environmental crime team is investigating yet another case of fly-tipping, this time at Penyrheol Common.

The council is asking anyone with information concerning the incident to contact it via its website, or call on 01443 866544.

Independent group leader and Blackwood councillor, Nigel Dix, previously accused the council of not taking fly-tipping in the borough seriously.

The deputy leader of Caerphilly County Borough Council, Jamie Pritchard hit back at those claims, instead blaming the “small minority of irresponsible fly-tippers“.
