A man has died after a crash in a supermarket car park in Caerphilly.

Emergency services, including the Wales Air Ambulance, were called to Morrisons car park at around 7.30am on Monday July 15.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the man “was suffering a cardiac arrest after crashing into a bush, and fumes were emitting from the vehicle”.

A Gwent Police spokesperson said the man’s “next of kin have been informed and specialised officers will be allocated to support them”.
