Cllr Dianne Price passed away in April

A by-election is expected to be held in Caerphilly County Borough in August to elect a new councillor.

The election follows the death of Aberbargoed and Bargoed ward councillor Dianne Price, who passed away in April having represented the area for 20 years.

Labour councillor Price had been described as a “dedicated public servant”.
