Moose International Lodge in Blackwood has raised more than £1,000 for Greenhill Primary School in Gelligaer.
A fundraising event was hosted at the Square Royale, in Bargoed, and saw live bands from the area come together and perform to raise money for school equipment.
Blackwood Town councillor Delwyn Davies thanked the Square Royale for hosting the fundraiser, adding: “Each year the lodge likes to raise money for a local cause and this year’s was a real worthy one.
“In total, £1,050 was raised and we handed the cheque over to the school the other night. They were very grateful.
“Next year we have decided to raise money for Ty Hafan.”
