Gwent Police is appealing for information after an incident in July

Police were called to an address in Cwmcarn on Wednesday July 31 after an on-fire object was reportedly thrown at a car.

The incident allegedly took place at Chapel Farm Terrace at around 1.40am.

An “unknown object” was set alight and thrown at car, according to Gwent Police.

The object then reportedly bounced off the car and damaged the windowsill of one property and the garden of another.

? Officers investigating a report of arson in Cwmcarn are appealing for information.

It is believed that the unknown person was picked-up by someone riding an off-road bike and left the scene.

Gwent Police issued an appeal for information on Tuesday August 20.

Anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, can contact the force on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting log number 2400254420.
