The Barking Mad Dog Show will be in Nelson this weekend

The annual Barking Mad Dog Show will be returning to Llancaiach Fawr on Saturday, August 24.

There will be a range of stalls, raffles and even a ‘doggy deli’ at the event, as well as a bouncy castle, with a number of guest speakers in attendance.

The show will support Hope Rescue, a south Wales-based dog welfare charity.

Entry to the event costs £3 for adults and £1 for children, with only cash accepted.

Gates open at 11am for the dog show registration, with the first class starting at 12 noon in the main show ring.

Entry into the classes is £2 per class or £15 all inclusive. These can be bought either on the day or in advance online.

There will prizes for the top four in each category, with first-place winners being invited back for Best in Show.
