Gwent Police officers spent last week making arrests in Lansbury Park

Designer handbags, clothing, jewellery, and a purse containing money have reportedly gone missing following a burglary in Pengam.

The incident is said to have happened at an address on Commercial Street at around 4.10am on Thursday August 22.

Gwent Police is investigating and has launched an appeal for information.

Police would like to identify a man who was filmed on a Ring doorbell entering the property at the time.

A 39-year-old man has been arrested and remains in police custody.

Anyone with information can contact Gwent Police on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2400281246.
