Police launch appeal after 13-year-old boy punched

Police are appealing for information after a 13-year-old boy was punched in a New Tredegar shop.

The assault, which is said to have happened following a “verbal altercation”, took place at the 3S store at around 6pm on Tuesday May 28.

In an appeal launched on Thursday September 5, Gwent Police said it was looking to identify a man (circled in the video above) who was in the shop at the time, and may be able to help with enquiries.

Anyone who knows this person can contact Gwent Police on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2400175105.
