TSS Print and Embroidery also have a shop in Caerphilly

TSS Print and Embroidery have recently opened their new shop in Blackwood after receiving a £40,000 government grant.

The embroidery shop, which prints logos on school uniforms and workwear for example, was originally based on Bartlett Street, Caerphilly, before opening another store on High Street in Blackwood a few months ago.

The business received two UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund grants, one for £25,000 in 2023/24 which went towards a refurbishment, and a further £14,435 grant towards new embroidery machines.

TSS also caters to special occasions, offering T-shirt printing services for events, parties and other celebrations as well as supplying trophies, medals, and cups for awards.

The new Blackwood shop, which opened its doors in July 2024, is also excited to announce future developments for the new premises, including plans to renovate the basement to create additional storage space.

Business owner Mat Pegler said: “We are incredibly grateful for the support from the UK Government and CCBC, which has made the expansion possible.

“Our new shop in Blackwood not only helps us better serve our customers but also strengthens the local economy.

“We look forward to becoming a vibrant part of the community and are excited about the future.”
