A section of Kendon Road, Crumlin, remains closed

Caerphilly County Borough Council has confirmed a ‘minor landslip’ in Crumlin shows no signs of further instability, but says it will continue to monitor the area.

The landslip occurred on the downhill lane of Kennel Road, Crumlin, at around midnight on Monday January 5, with a section of road still closed.

A council spokesperson said highway engineers will continue to inspect and monitor the area to ensure safety before both lanes are reopened.

Traffic lights will be in place to manage traffic flow.
