Friday January 24

🎩 Psychic Sally is at Newbridge Memo Hall. Show starts at 7.30pm with doors open from 6.30pm. Tickets cost £25.50 and can be bought online. Alternatively call 01495 243 252.

Saturday January 25

🎸In preparation for Newbridge Memo’s Rock Heritage Weekend, due to be held on March 7 – 9 this year, the Memo is holding a ‘Sunday Night Rock Afterparty’ at 6.30pm with music from the Kamikazee Millionaires. Tickets cost £2.50 and can be bought online.

👩‍🎤 ‘Almost like Tina’ – a Tina Turner tribute act at Blackwood Rugby Club at 7pm. Tickets are £7 and can be bought directly from the club.

🤠 Country Superstars, described as ‘The World’s biggest Country Music Tribute Touring Show’ is at Blackwood Miners’ Institute at 7.30pm. Tickets are £27 and can be bought from the BMI website.

Sunday January 26

♟️ The Old Library cafe at Morgan Jones’ Park is hosting its monthly family games session from 1.30pm during coffee shop opening hours. It’s suitable for younger children to teenagers and relaxed. Bring some games or join in with others.

Monday January 27

🎵 Are you interested in music? Have you always wanted to play an instrument? Do you like listening to music and want to meet like minded people? Have you ever wanted to write your own song?

RockRec is working with Caerphilly Miners Centre for the Community to deliver a series of music taster sessions on Mondays at 10.30am. Please contact dan@recrock.co.uk for more info.

Other sessions being run by RecRock are:
White Rose Resource Centre – Tuesdays: 10am to noon; and 1pm to 3pm.

Digital skills at Bargoed Library – Thursdays: 10am to noon.

Rhymney Day Centre – Fridays: 10am to noon.
