Business owner Bethan Dowling, left, and Carly Hart

A Caerphilly salon has thanked its customers for helping it reach an “incredible” ten-year milestone.
Bethan Dowling started Beauty and Perfection as a mobile salon ten years ago, before giving the business a home on Clive Street, Caerphilly.

After steadily growing the business, Bethan welcomed Carly Hart to the team, who initially worked part-time while in college studying to become a beauty therapist.

Before long, Carly became a big part of the salon, and was quickly fully booked. Fast forward eight years, and described as the “best decision we ever made” by Bethan, the salon found a new home on Cardiff Road.

It hasn’t all been easy for the business however. Covid proved a difficult period as it did for many, but Bethan and Carly said they came out the other side “stronger than ever”.

Away from the salon, both Bethan and Carly have welcomed daughters into the world, while Bethan married partner Wayne.

‘Securing the future’: Recruitment firm becomes employee-owned

Reflecting on the last ten years, Bethan said: “As we celebrate a decade of Beauty and Perfection, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your support and trust have been the foundation of our journey, and we couldn’t have reached this incredible milestone without you.

“Over the past ten years, we’ve shared countless moments together – transformations, celebrations, and the everyday joys of beauty. Our commitment to enhancing your confidence and helping you embrace your unique beauty has been our guiding mission.”

Bethan added that to commemorate the special occasion, exclusive offers and “a few surprises” will be unveiled throughout the year.
