Fast food chain Burger King is returning to Caerphilly town centre

Burger King has confirmed it will be opening a new site in Caerphilly town centre.

The fast food chain told Caerphilly Observer that it will be returning to Caerphilly in the “near future”.

According to a job advert online, the new site is expected to be in Castle Court Shopping Centre, though Burger King hasn’t confirmed which unit it will operate from.

In February last year planning permission was granted to convert the former premises of Halifax into a fast-food restaurant.

A Burger King spokesperson said to “stay tuned” for more updates.

It will be the second time a Burger King franchise has opened at Castle Court Shopping Centre, with the other opening in 2016 but closing a year later.
