Thousands of people attended the 2024 Caerphilly Food Festival

Caerphilly Food and Drink Festival returns this weekend, bringing a variety of stalls and activities.

Traders will be setting up their stalls for the event on Saturday April 12, with cookery demonstrations, entertainers and children’s funfair rides adding to the atmosphere.

Established monthly markets that take place in the town centre, including Caerphilly Artisan Market at The Twyn Community Centre, Castle Court Shopping Centre’s Food and Craft Market, and the cenotaph’s Craft Fair by Crafty Legs, will also be up and running on the day.

The event, which is being organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council, will be held on Cardiff Road, Twyn Road, Castle Street and the Twyn Car Park between 9am and 5pm.

This event is part-funded by Caerphilly Town Council, as well as through the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, and organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Spring events pull in the crowds and hailed a success
