A 26-year-old man has been arrested after a report of indecent exposure at a popular walking spot in Caerphilly.

The incident, at Castle View Lake, was reported to police at around 4.50pm on Tuesday April 8.

Inspector Rebecca Williams, of Gwent Police, said: “Following the report we received, from a member of the public, our officers have been carrying out enquiries to identify the offender.

“We know how distressing and concerning such incidents can be to our communities. We’ve spoken to a number of witnesses and been reviewing footage to try and find him.

“We have today arrested a 26-year-old man from the Cardiff area, on suspicion of outraging public decency. He’s currently in custody being questioned.”
