The Caerphilly Challenge Series will return for 2025

The annual Caerphilly Challenge Series is set to return to the borough once again this weekend.

The event, which is being held on Saturday May 10, promises a challenge for walkers, joggers, and runners of all fitness levels and abilities.

This year, the route starts and finishes at the Coleg Gwent campus in Crosskeys, taking in views from Twmbarlwm along the way.

Routes
  • 20–22-mile route (self-led challenge and led walk)
  • 1 to 5 mile ‘Lets walk Challenge’ (Led walk)
  • 9-11 mile ‘Ramblers Cymru’ Challenge (Led walk)
  • 14–16-mile route (self-led challenge and led walk)

The event has been organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Countryside and Landscape Service, alongside Caerphilly Adventures, Caerphilly Adventure Group, Caerphilly Ramblers, Islwyn Ramblers and others.

Minimum entry age is 12 years.
