Staff have run races and hosted charity bake sales to raise money

Staff from Caerphilly-based housing association, United Welsh, have helped raise more than £6,100 for charity.

Velindre are set to benefit from the fundraising efforts of staff, who have been busy running 10k races, walking 30,000 steps a day, baking cakes, and raffling prizes.

Emma Prince, regional fundraising and engagement manager at Velindre, said: “On behalf of Velindre Cancer Centre, we want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at United Welsh for choosing us as your charity of the year and raising such an incredible amount.

“Your contributions will help provide care, support and hope to patients and families when it’s needed the most.”
