Early registration for this year’s Castle 2 Castle charity race has opened, with a new finish line location announced by the organisers.

The race, which is in aid of cancer charity Velindre, is a 10.5 mile run starting at Caerphilly Castle, and for the first time, finishing at Pontcanna Fields in Cardiff.

Although early bird registration is currently available, tickets will officially be released at 10am on Friday May 23.

The race, which will start on the morning of September 14, sold out last year for the event’s tenth anniversary and raised a record £100,000.

More information on the race route can be found on Velindre’s website.
