Risca’s annual beach party is back next month, bringing sand, deckchairs, funfair rides and more to Tredegar Park.

The free-to-enter event is being held between 10am and 4pm on Saturday June 7 and Sunday June 8.

It will see the park transformed into a giant beach, with a range of stalls selling sweet treats and hot and cold drinks.

Picnics are also encouraged at the two-day event, which has been organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council, and funded through the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Go to Visit Caerphilly’s website for more a list of stalls at the event.

For trade space and general event enquiries, please email events@caerphilly.gov.uk or call 01443 866390.

A few weeks later, Blackwood will host its own beach party, which will be coming to High Street on Saturday June 28.
