Rhymney Library will host the free events

As part of national wellbeing week, Rhymney Library is set to host a series of free activities to promote positive mental and physical health in the community.

Running from Monday June 23 to Friday June 27, each day will feature a themed programme of free events and support services, including seated yoga, Spanish tasters, craft sessions, and healthy eating talks.

With all ages welcome, the event finishes on Friday where between 3pm and 5pm there will be a free outdoor session featuring a silent disco, stalls, donations, and a foodbank collection.

The week is being delivered in partnership with Caerphilly Cares, Public Health Wales and Cwtsh, with support from a range of local services and organisations.

Cllr Carol Andrews, cabinet member for education and communities, said: “National wellbeing week is a fantastic opportunity for people to connect with their community and discover the wide range of support services available through Rhymney Library Hub.
