Gwent Police is investigating

Police are investigating after a man was reportedly assaulted in Caerphilly.

The incident happened on Maxton Court, Lansbury Park, sometime between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on Thursday June 19.

A 30-year-old man from Caerphilly was arrested on suspicion of affray and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.

He has since been released on conditional bail while Gwent Police’s investigation continues.
