The A470 between Nantgarw and Taffs Well

There is heavy traffic along the A470 after a car flipped onto its roof between Nantgarw and Taffs Well.

The crash happened at around 2pm on Thursday July 24.

In a statement, South Wales Police said it was called to “reports of a single car having collided with the central reservation and flipped onto its roof on the A470 southbound”.

The force added: “Injuries have been reported but they are not believed to be life threatening/changing at this time.”

There is also heavy traffic on Nantgarw Hill heading away from Caerphilly, as well as on the A468 between Penrhos and Trecenydd roundabouts.
