The Caerphilly Cheese Festival is back in town next month, bringing food and craft stalls, entertainment, and more.
The event is on Saturday August 30 and Sunday August 31, and is being held in place of the Big Cheese festival.
The Big Cheese has not been held since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and more recently, ongoing works at Caerphilly Castle. In its place has been the Little Cheese Festival, held at the Twyn car park in recent years.
This year’s event will take place on the grassed area behind the castle, while a food court and drinking area is set up at the Twyn car park.
Meanwhile, town centre pubs and restaurants will be setting up outdoor drinking areas during the festival, which is being organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council.
For all event enquiries, contact the council on events@caerphilly.gov.uk or call 01443 866390.
