A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a crash on the A468, near the Pwllypant Roundabout, on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident, which happened at around 2.30pm, involved a motorbike and a car.

Gwent Police officers attended along with the Welsh Air Ambulance Service.

The motorcyclist’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, Gwent Police confirmed.

The road was closed for a short time following the incident but has since reopened.
