Gwent Police would like to speak to this woman

Police are appealing for information after a woman reportedly attacked a worker at the dip garage in near Trecenydd.

At around 5.20pm on July 19, a woman entered the store at the Texaco service station, on St Cenydd Road, before allegedly taking a bottle of wine and leaving without paying.

According to Gwent Police, a member of staff followed her out of the store and asked her to return the item before being attacked.

Officers are now looking to identify the woman, pictured above, who was in the area at the time in connection with the assault.

Police can be contacted on 101 or via a direct message on social media, by quoting log reference 2500230411.

Alternately Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
