GCSE pupils will find out their exam results on Thursday August 21

GCSE pupils across Caerphilly County Borough will be receiving their exam results on Thursday morning.

In 2024, the percentage of results between grades A* to C across Wales was 62.2% – marginally lower than 2023’s 64.9% figure.

The percentage of results marked at A* and A grades was also down last year, from 21.7% in 2023 to 19.2% in 2024. However, this was still higher than pre-Covid figures.

GCSE results day comes exactly a week after A-level results day.
