Family informed after body found in search for missing man

The family of missing man Jamie Loader, from Cefn Fforest, have been informed after a body was found in Cardiff, Gwent Police has said.

The body was found near Lamby Way at around 10.30am on Sunday September 21.

Formal identification has not yet taken place.

Mr Loader, 47, originally from Abertridwr, was last seen on Thursday August 28.

In a statement, Gwent Police said: “The family of missing man Jamie Loader have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

“Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”
