Woman, 33, arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crash

A 33-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash in Bedwellty this morning.

The crash, which happened on Heol y Bedw Hirion and involved one car, was reported to police at around 5.15am on Tuesday October 7.

The woman, from the Blackwood area, is curently in police custody being questioned.

No injuries were reported, Gwent Police confirmed.

The road was closed following the incident, but reopened a couple of hours later.
