Labour’s Senedd by-election candidate Richard Tunnicliffe with First Minister Eluned Morgan

Welsh Labour’s Senedd by-election candidate for Caerphilly, Richard Tunnicliffe, will host a series of “community listening events” across the constituency, beginning this weekend.

In recent weeks Mr Tunnicliffe has been knocking doors from Bargoed to Bedwas, speaking with residents and running a survey on the issues that matter most locally.

The first event takes place at Glan-y-Nant Community Centre, near Pengam, on Saturday October 11, 11am, with further sessions planned in villages and towns across Caerphilly:

Machen Village Hall – Saturday October 11, 1pm

Senghenydd Community Centre – Saturday October 11, 3.30pm

Twyn Community Centre, Caerphilly, – Saturday October 11, 6pm

Cefn Hengoed Community Centre – Sunday October 12, 11.30am

Llanbradach Community Centre – Sunday October 12, 3.30pm

Trecenydd Community Centre – Monday October 13, 5.30pm

Nelson Community Centre – Saturday October 18, 11.30am

Mr Tunnicliffe said: “I’ve spoken with people across the constituency over the last few weeks, but these events are a chance to go deeper into ongoing issues and explore how I can help as Labour’s candidate for Caerphilly. I’m really looking forward to the conversations and hearing what matters most in each community.”

  • Wales Green Party – Gareth Hughes
