Two people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car crash in Bedwas on Thursday afternoon.

The collision happened on Newport Road, near the entrance to Pant Glas Industrial Estate, at around 3pm on October 16. It involved two cars.

The road was closed overnight as Gwent Police carried out enquiries, but has since reopened.
