Polls have now closed in the Caerphilly Senedd by-election.
Throughout the day, people across the Caerphilly constituency have been voting to decide who will represent the community in the Welsh Parliament.
The by-election follows the sudden passing of incumbent Labour MS Hefin David, who died in August, aged just 47.

The results will now be counted at Caerphilly Leisure Centre, with the winner expected to be announced in the early hours of Friday morning (October 24).
The successful candidate will represent Caerphilly until next Spring, when voters across Wales will hit the polls to vote in the 2026 Senedd election.
