Risca Male Choir is hosting its Christmas concert alongside Hear Her Voice choir

National Eisteddfod winners Risca Male Choir will be performing their Christmas concert next week.

The choir will be singing at Newport Cathedral from 7.30pm on Tuesday December 16.

They will be joined on the night by the Cardiff-based Hear Her Voice choir, with doors opening at 7pm.

The performance, called The Night Before Christmas, will include “a stunning array of Christmas arrangements”, the choir has said – including mulled wine and mince pies.

The evening will include festive classics such as O Holy Night, Sleigh Ride, and O Come, All Ye Faithful, as well as unique pieces like Mele Kalikimaka, Under Winter Moon, and Ukrainian Alleluia, and more.

It will feature soprano Clara Greening, pianist Mackenzie Paget, organist Jeff Howard BEM, conductor Matthew James Harrison, and a festive brass and percussion ensemble.
