Runners at the start of the 2025 Caerphilly 10k race

Registrations are open for this year’s Caerphilly 10k and 2k runs, following a record number of entries last year.

The event returns to Caerphilly town on Sunday May 10.

The 10k race starts and finishes on Crescent Road, with the track leading runners in and around Caerphilly town centre, passing landmarks such as the castle and the Tommy Cooper statue along the way.

Caerphilly County Borough Council, which organises the annual event, is urging runners to sign up early to secure their spots on the start line.

Cllr Chris Morgan, the council’s cabinet member for leisure, said: “The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K and 2K continues to go from strength to strength.

“Selling out in 2025 was a huge milestone and shows just how popular the event has become. We’re encouraging people to register early for 2026 to avoid disappointment and be part of what promises to be another fantastic day.”

Visit the Caerphilly 10k website to sign up.
