Transport for Wales (TfW) has warned of potential disruption after a train was forced to stop due to a mechanical issue.
The 10.35 service from Barry Island to Rhymney had to make an emergency stop in Caerphilly on Friday March 20.
A spokesperson for TfW said services along the route may be delayed or cancelled as a result.
“While we’re working to address the issue as quickly as possible, we advise customers to check their journey details before they travel,” the spokesperson said.
“If your train was delayed by more than 15 minutes, you may be entitled to compensation. Please visit the Delay Repay section of our website for details on how to claim.”
