Maesycwmmer is to get a new development of 95 houses after a Welsh Assembly planning inspector overturned a decision by Caerphilly County Borough Council.
The local authority had originally rejected the plans for the scheme on land near Gellideg Heights back in December last year.
They had deemed it an “inappropriate development” but planning consultants Boyer Planning appealed.
