Final preparations are underway for tomorrow’s River of Light parade in Caerphilly town centre.

More than 1,000 people have attended free workshops in the weeks leading up to the parade and have a record number of lanterns for the event’s tenth anniversary.

Children and adults of all ages will be gathering at Caerphilly bus and train station before setting off at 6.30pm.

As the parade reaches Crescent Road, more than 200 floating lanterns will be released before the parade’s firework finale at Caerphilly Castle.

Joining the parade this year will be music from jazz band Wonderbrass, Caerphilly Samba, Samba Galez and Madd Dance School.
