Two Cardiff City stars delighted Caerphilly youngsters last week, when they helped launched a new community football scheme.

More than 100 youngsters joined in the football master class at Caerphilly Leisure Centre by Bluebird stars Aaron Ramsey, from Caerphilly, and Darcy Blake, of New Tredegar.

The new ‘Football for All’ scheme has been organised by Sport Caerphilly and Cardiff City FC’s Community and Education Foundation.

The youngsters had the chance to take part in four-a-side matches, shooting competitions and a Soccer Matrix competition, using a state-of-the-art machine that measures the accuracy and speed of a range of passes.

Football for All training sessions will be offered at Caerphilly, New Tredegar and Pontllanfraith Leisure Centres for four to 11 year olds.
