Kind-hearted pupils at a Caerphilly primary school have taken part in a colourful event to raise money for the victims of the recent Haiti earthquake.

Children at Plasyfelin Primary School, in Lewis Road, Caerphilly, held a special “Rainbow Day” yesterday where each class dressed in one of the colours of the rainbow.

All of the pupils who took part brought in a donation and managed to raise £350 for the disaster appeal fund.
