Lana Harrison, Caerphilly County Borough’s Victims’ Champion, said: “We are currently looking for dedicated volunteers who are interested in making a real positive difference to the lives of others.

“I would encourage anyone who has a few hours to spare and would like to help us provide important advice and support to victims of crime and anti-social behaviour to get in touch.”

Besides giving emotional support and practical help, volunteers liaise with local policing teams, Probation Services and the Safer Caerphilly Community Safety Partnership.

No particular qualifications or experience is required to become a volunteer.
