Nominations are now open for this year’s Voluntary Sector Achievement Awards.
Caerphilly County Borough Council and GAVO, the Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations, want to hear from people who know of volunteers that help their communities like no other.
There are a number of award categories for this year’s Voluntary Sector Achievement Awards, which recognise outstanding volunteers from across Caerphilly County Borough.
Categories include:
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Record Breaking Volunteer
- Environmental Volunteer
- Fundraising Volunteer
- Employer-supported Volunteer
- Inspirational Volunteer
- Retired Senior Volunteer
- Practical Service Adult Volunteer
- New Volunteer
The deadline for nominations is Friday April 16.
Individuals or groups where appropriate can be nominated for an award.
A special awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday June 16 at Caerphilly County Borough Council’s headquarters, at Ty Penallta in Tredomen.
