Shoppers in Bargoed town centre will be able to bag a bargain at a special Spring Fair taking place this weekend.

The free event will be held at the Emporium Car Park on Saturday March 27 between 10am and 4pm.

The first 100 children to turn up will get a free Easter egg.

The fair will take place within a large marquee with stalls offering hand-crafted goods, food and drink, jewellery, Easter gifts, children’s books and much more.

The marquee will also host a variety of activities including a Punch and Judy Show, balloon modelling, circus skills, pottery, screen printing, Easter gifts and face painting.

Street entertainers and stilt walkers will be in and around the town centre inviting shoppers to visit the fair while musical entertainment will be provided by Phil Dando Jazz Band.
