Mums will get free entry to historic Llancaiach Fawr Manor House on Mothers’ Day.
They can take part in a special day of activities at the heritage centre in Treharris on Sunday, April 3, where they can try traditional beauty remedies and 17th century fashions.
The day is part of a series of events at Llancaiach Fawr which were unveiled by Caerphilly mayor James Fussell to mark British Tourism Week.
Other highlights include children’s activities over Easter and in the school holidays, demonstrations of historic crafts including quilting, butter and cheese making, sheep shearing, old fashioned spring cleaning and the annual fun dog show.
