Bargoed Carnival on June 12

The Bargoed Carnival takes place this year on June 12 at Heolddu Playing Fields, Bargoed.

The event is a free family fun day and will feature live music from local bands, a funfair, dance demonstrations, children’s activities, food and a licensed bar.

Marquees will house craft, food and charity stalls. This year welcomes a new children’s marquee with Punch and Judy, a magician, ceramic workshops and face painting.

The event will begin with a performance by Bargoed Male Voice Choir.

A Fancy Dress Carnival Parade will be held at 11.15am starting from Bargoed Community Centre and finishing at Heolddu Playing Fields at midday. There will be prizes for best fancy dress costume.

The carnival will start at midday and finish at 7pm.
