Llanbradach villagers to be honoured for community work

Eight villagers are to be honoured for their community work in Llanbradach.

Earlier this year the Llanbradach and Pwll-y-Pant Community Council asked for nominations for a civic award recognising the dedication of individuals.

And on Friday the eight individuals will be presented with their awards.

They are Kenny Ball, Susan Edwards, Dorothy Evans, Rhys Phillip Griffin, Iris Horn, Dr TC Mahanty, Dr SW Mohan and Iris Moss.

The ceremony at Llanbradach Community Centre will include music by Coed-y-Brain Junior School.

Community council chairman Councillor Robert Cantelo will present the awards on behalf of the authority.
