Police appeal for missing Hengoed woman, 29

Bernadette Thomas, 29, has been reported as missing

UPDATE: Police reported on December 19 that Ms Thomas has been found safe and well.

Gwent Police is appealing for information to trace a missing 29-year-old Hengoed woman.

Bernadette Thomas was reported missing to police on December 6 and was last seen in the Hengoed area on December 2.

Bernadette is described as 5ft tall, of a slim build, with dark brown collar length hair which she regularly wears in a bun. She also frequently dyes her hair and wears wigs.

She has a tattoo on her right arm of a rose and a Chinese symbol and a tattoo on her back of a butterfly.

When she was last seen she was wearing blue jeans, camel coloured three quarter length boots, a brown jacket with white stripes down the arms, a light coloured flat cap, light coloured gloves and a yellow and gold scarf. She also had a light coloured handbag and a big bag with a black handle and a pink and white floral pattern on it.

Anyone who knows where she may be is asked to call Gwent Police on 101.
