More than 3,000 visitors flocked to Bargoed on the weekend to sample the delights on offer at the town’s Christmas Market.
A host of stalls included local craft, charity and seasonal foods. There was also a chance for Christmas shoppers to take to the ice at the Open Air Ice Rink.
The event, together with the ice rink, was sponsored by Bargoed Town Council.
Also on offer were various street entertainers as well as a children’s activity marquee and even a Santa’s Grotto.
A fantastic fireworks display provided the perfect finale to the day, which was also provided by Bargoed Town Council.
Cllr Ron Davies, cabinet member for regeneration and planning said: “I am delighted that this festive programme of events have proven so popular once again this year.
“Events such as this, in addition to helping give traders a boost during this crucial trading period, really help put Caerphilly county borough on the map as a key tourist destination with something to offer all the family.”
