Police appeal to identify stolen items from the Caerphilly area

Gwent Police is appealing to residents in the Caerphilly area, who may have had property stolen, to come forward to identify a haul of items that have been recovered.

Following a burglary in the Penyrheol area on July 27, three local men aged 19, 23 and 26 have been arrested on suspicion of burglary, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and possession of Class B drugs. The men are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

The recovered property includes:

  • Grey and black Stanley tool box containing various items
  • Power Devil jigsaw in box
  • Green handle angle grinder
  • Silver Hika drill box containing drill
  • Black Phillips car radio
  • Black Stanley tool box containing various tools
  • Metabo tool box containing power drill
  • Black Dewalt tool box containing a disc
  • Black and yellow screwdriver
  • Sony Ericcson mobile phone
  • Samsung digimax camera
  • Kodak digital camera
  • I Book rechargeable battery
  • FM white, red and blue crash helmet
  • Angle grinder
  • Orange packet of chisels
  • Red metal socket set
  • McCulloch gladiator 550 petrol hedge strimmer
  • Silver home mix set
  • 2 Stanley yellow large screws and bolts
  • Green Bosch drill case and drill (industrial)
  • Welding mask
  • Yellow bolt croppers
  • 2 in 1 yellow jump start / air compressor
  • Challenge battery charger
  • Aiwa SX 180 speakers
  • 2 specialist glass tools
  • Metal computer unit

If anyone recognises any of the items and believe them to be theirs, please contact Gwent Police on 01633 838111 to make arrangements to visit Blackwood Police Station to formally identify the property.
