Police are still looking for two men who mugged a 21-year-old man just before Christmas.

The robbery happened on Bedwas Road, Caerphilly, at approximately 11am on Friday December 23.

The 21-year-old victim was walking along Bedwas Road near the 7/11 shop when he was approached by two men.

One of the muggers held the man from behind and claimed he was holding a knife. The other robber then stole the victim’s wallet which contained an amount of cash.

The two men then made off across the road towards Lansbury Park.

One of the offenders is described as being approximately 6ft 2in tall and of large build. The second offender was approximately 5ft 8in and of small build. Both offenders wore dark clothing.

A spokeswoman for Gwent Police has confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
